Canon EOS M50 Mirrorless 4K Vlogging Camera Bundle Kit with EF-M15-45mm + EF-M 55-200mm Lenses, Black
- The photo quality straight out of camera is a big step up from my 40D. I bought this instead of an 80D because it was about the same price range but LIGHTER and since I spend time on hills, trails and mountains heavy isn\'t good. It\'s hard to get used to because it\'s so small compared to the 40D that\'s not a negative just not what I\'ve been used to all these years. The biggest issue with me is no weather protection at all. I worry about that a lot since I spend time in the elements. I also can\'t seem to get the wifi to work consistently. it\'s much faster for me to just take the memory card out and upload them myself than try and depend on it\'s very finicky uploading. I like that I\'ll be able to use my lenses with it once my adapter arrives though and I\'ll update once I\'ve used it a few times. I\'m still learning because while it\'s in the Canon family it is very different than the 40D and what was \"muscle memory\" with it isn\'t the same with this one.It\'s much better in low light as well and I\'m looking forward to getting out and really seeing what it can do.Now the big downside, the battery..terrible, really. Trust me on this. buy several spares because you will need them. I could use my 40D for two days before the battery would go out on me, this one lasts MAYBE 3 hours.Less if you are using the wifi or bluetooth.
- Great mirrorless camera. Best camera I’ve ever owned. For not being a super top of the line camera, this camera packs a big punch and rewrites what top of the line is. This mirrorless camera has most of the same controls any DSLR has and a few they don’t. Settings are easy to adjust. The touchscreen is easy to work with and use and is super responsive. Interchangeable lenses for this are super handy and it’s definitely a good idea to get the package with the adapter so that a wider variety of lenses can be used. The only issue someone might have, is if you have large hands the smaller compact body might be more difficult to hold. My one wish for the camera is that there would be lower strap attachment points on the sides. The built in strap attachment points are near the top and can cause issues with the strap getting in the way when using the viewer, especially when shooting vertical. Picture quality is great. Video quality is great for what I’ve shot so far - have t used the 4K, but also don’t really plan on doing much of it.
- So it\'s great for video. But if you\'re gonna get a different lens for photos, and are shooting handheld. You almost must have a lens with stabilization. Otherwise it\'s nearly impossible
- I wanted to love this camera. I was looking for a lightweight EOS for traveling. However it is pretty much identical specs when compared to my T6i and I have a hard time paying $850 for the same thing I have. If I invest in a mirrorless camera I’d like it to have at least full frame or higher MP. I am still thinking about the EOS RP, I rented one and liked it but I read so many negative reviews from people and I’m troubled that it doesn’t have IS built into it. Plus the RF lenses are double the price of the RP camera...So I am still travel cameraless unsure what to do...at this time I’ll just make do with my heavy cameras.
- The M50 is exactly what I needed after outgrowing my T6i. I really wanted 60fps and a better sensor with greater image quality, and in a smaller size so if I’m vlogging in public or out exploring this isn’t too obtrusive. It’s perfect! Lightweight, compact, good video and auto focus, easy controls and great flip out screen.Only issue is low light but with using EF M lenses (Sigma has a ton) or EF/EF S with the Canon adaptor I get what I need.Seriously for $500 USD you should buy two. I might!
- This camera is good for price. I am happy that I bought this camera for my personal blogging. But one thing that you need to remember is that this camera actually does not have the 4k recording quality. Because it fails to auto focus + it zoomed when you turn on the 4k. So it is not really 4k. Overall, it is a good starter camera for anyone.
- First, I am a Canon 5D mark iii user. I wanted something akin to what the pros use on their day off and bought the M50.This is a lovely little digital camera with lots of features that makes me happy due to its similar feel and functionality to the %D, my preferred camera. The camera is lightweight, has interchangeable lenses and lots of features due to its processor. This is my second M50, the first was a dud, did not turn on and immediately went back for a replacement (first time ever to have a Canon camera with a fatal defect).I like this camera very much and believe that its fun to use, takes great photos, including the accompanying telephoto lens., It\'s a nice stopgap between the true pro-grads 5D\'s and the mid-level point and shoots.
- Good camera for daily use, but the wifi connection with smart phone is not very stable
