    • I needed a second camera to shoot with and well this blew my socks off, there are search parties looking for my socks right now. Autofocus is weird, granted, but with an EF to EOS-M mount adapter my travel kit has reduced in size from a m4/3s with multiple lenses, for walk around with the full sized dSLR and lenses for the work stuff; to just the dSLR with lenses and the M2 plus an adapter. Though I will admit that I did buy a EOS-M kit lens because it was so dang cheap (ebay for 60 dollars score!) and why not? FWIW it\'s replaced a 6 year old first gen 7D as my second body at some things, such as on this helicopter tour i did recently without really pixel peeping or checking the exif most people can\'t tell which camera is which. https://www.flickr.com/photos/stormyteacup/albums/72157660808478337
    • This is my first camera body of the digital age. I had a nice 35 mm film camera years ago and was an avid amateur and had a number of nice sharp lenses to choose from. I frankly didn\'t know where to jump in and get my feet wet. This camera body lured me and reeled me in! I am sure glad that it did! I have never been more pleased with a purchase. I already had a nice flash unit that works with it perfectly, but the M2 works so well with available light that I rarely use it. I am no expert, but I can tell when a camera works the way that I think it should.
    • Canon EOS M2 uses the Canon EF-M lens mount (non EF or EF-S), an 18 megapixel APS-C sensor and a DIGIC 5 image processor. The newer EOS M2 adds phase detection autofocus for improved autofocus speed and other features (integrated Wi-Fi and remote control via a smartphone app.). The camera has a 3-inch touchscreen with support for multi-touch gestures such as pinch to zoom, swiping and tapping. It is a handle travel camera for those who care a lot of sensor quality, Then this is the camera for you.
    • Using it as a backup camera to my 5D Mark II. it has made it much more difficult to feel the need to pull out the full-size SLR. While not as fast and not as high resolution, I couldn\'t be happier with the overall handling of the camera. I actually bought a eos M3 and hated it. If you can still find one at a reasonable price, highly recommended.
    • This thing is awesome. I have a Canon SL1, and bought this for fun. This is much smaller to walk around with especially with the 22mm lens. The images are the same if not better than my SL1. Best camera I have puchased.
    • The camera is okay for anyone not wanting to add their current lenses. Needed to buy the lens adapter, and when adding it and my walk around lens, it became difficult to hold and clumsy.
    • Works great!
    • I bought the M2 because I have a D20 and EF lenses already. I was aware there were problems of slow focusing with the first mirrorless, the M so I waited and got an M2. I also bought it because of the ability to buy adapters so that I could use my Leica and Exakta lenses with the M2. This is not possible to do with a standard canon dslr because of the distance from the rear lens element to film or sensor mount was too large in the DSLR\'s (like my D20).I\'m happy I can use my old manual focus lenses with the M2, but I am not happy with the slow and difficult focusing using my older EF lenses. I used an 80-200 f2.8 L and a 28-70 EF lens with a Canon adapter using the M2. Focusing is terrible and noisier than with my old D20. I almost regret buying the Canon adapter to use my old EF lenses. Maybe it works better with the dedicated pancake lenses but I don\'t know. Canon should not have sold an adapter to use older EF lenses if it works this poorly. Thats my only complaint. Wait for the M4.
