  • Of all the insta cameras out there, I chose this one because I assumed Minolta would have a good quality camera and it was half price. It\'s always spooky to be the first person to buy something on Amazon, but the price was right and the brand seems trustworthy.Despite Minolta being a big-name camera company, the camera itself is pretty hokey. Luckily, all I really wanted was to emulate dumb disposable camera-level pictures though and I got about that. The focus and color quality can be pretty bad, but getting a (relatively) instantaneous little photo is very satisfying. I assume other insta-cameras print their photos more quickly, but I also can\'t imagine they\'re as fun to watch. Hell yeah, 4 process photos.I wasn\'t able to connect my Android phone to the camera, but an iPhone hooked up just fine. A photo printed through the clunky app came out pretty damn well, honestly. The camera supposedly came with 10 photos included, but somehow I only had 8 - maybe some were used up for quality control? I bought more cartridges, but I had to go off the Amazon range for that.It\'s expensive for what it is, especially at full price. I still like it. We\'ll see how far it takes me. Or how quickly the photo cartridges become unavailable.Update: battery runs out faster than I\'d like and there\'s not an indicator of how low it is before it\'s too late. Dunno if the lack of indicator could be fixed in an update, but that would be nice.
  • Eh, this camera\'s okay. I purchased it because i liked its design, it (the gray and white version) was way cheaper than other instant cameras (of the non-Polaroid and Instax variety), and I assumed the prints would be better quality than Zink prints, but personally I don\'t think they\'re that much better. In terms of refills, the Instapix cartridges are the same/similar to the Kodak Mini Shot camera/Mini 2 printer cartridges, SereneLife printer carts, and a few others, but unfortunately nowhere near as readily available as Zink paper and are way more expensive- like $1 a print. While the 4pass printing system is cool to watch, it takes way more time to print, so I can\'t see anyone using this camera as a fun, on-the-go, running around the city type of camera, which is what I wanted to use it for. I\'ll probably send this back.
  • Gave this to my 12 year old grandson for his birthday. He loves it, & my daughter wants one too!
  • Don\'t buy, I had to return it and the replacement I got was also broken. It is a piece of crap. Do not buy! Worst Xmas gift I bought, please do not buy it is a horrible gift that doesn\'t work. Really bad gift for kids! I will try to add pics soon! Aaaaarg! Also the company doesn\'t help much, they avoid you. I answered all their questions and they just stop responding to my emails ...
  • This item is so cool! I can take pictures and print them or I can send pictures from my phone via Bluetooth to print. Picture quality is excellent!
  • Purchased a \"new\" camera, however USED was noted on the box and camera arrived broken. Camera would not print -- jammed and would not generate all colors. Charger cord was missing. Ended up purchasing a Kodak Mini Shot 2 as a backup, which has the IDENTICAL functionality as this Minolta camera and seems to be working well so far.
  • The 4Pass Tech color system Minolta uses is the same Kodak uses for its Mini camera. In my opinion the 4Pass Tech dye-sublimation printing system is far superior to the Zink system.
