  • Just a couple of bad comments NOT about the Camera (works great), when I opened the box; it was missing the Lens-Cap cover and the Tripod is a little joke, the Camera is too heavy for it; the first time I used it with on the Tripod I almost drop brake my camera, the clip that hold it on top of tripod got loose. Coolpix P1000 it\'s too heavy for this provide tripod.
  • There\'s nothing not tot like about the camera. In fact, I\'ve gotten away from thinking of it as a 24 megapixel camera with a big lens and started seeing it as a telescope with a really good camera on it. When you start to zoom in on something, you expect it to stop. It doesn\'t--it just keeps on zooming. Really impressive piece of glass.For that degree of zoom, you need good--no, make that great--image stabilization. And this isn\'t it. It\'s OK, but you still need to brace the camera (or your arm or body--however you\'re holding it) so you get the most out of the lenses. A tripod would be great, which brings us to the bad news...Calling the accessories in this pack cheap is being kind to them. They\'re junk. If you put the camera on the tripod they send, it will fall off and break. When I called to talk with them, they admitted that they just \"throw it in\" as an extra. It is literally not worth $5. The only useful accessories they sent were spare batteries and the memory card. Total value should have been about $30. They got $100 for it.Bottom line: buy the camera, but elsewhere. Do ~not~ buy the extra package. I will not be doing business with Wholesale Photo again. Ever.
  • For basically the same price as other vendors were selling just the camera, this outfit included so many great accessories. The camera itself is, as I write this, the most powerful optical zoom bridge camera in the known universe. And the optics are Nikon! Most amazing camera I have ever owned. One caveat...I like the lightweight tripod a lot, but not for this beast. The plastic tripod head/coupling doesn\'t inspire trust with this much weight. Love the backpack, filters, minitripod, cleaning kit, flash. . .whole lotta stuff.
  • I bought this to star gaze and take nature pics. The kit comes with a few things that are useful but the backpack is cheaply made and the tripod is useless with the weight of the camera. I bought a new heavy duty tripod to support the weight of this camera. The battery life is quite decent. I do wish the kit came with a battery charger set but all in all I would buy the kit again.
  • I am very happy so far with my purchase. The camera (Cool Pix 1000) is very easy to use and I found the fast delivery and extra package to be helpful. I am looking forward to mastering the settings and find the Instruction booklet and online help to be easy to understand. This has been a very good experience and I would be happy to do business with this Company again . Thank You.
  • This camera is a beast! I can take nice quality pictures of the moon and also pictures from nature and wild life. The kit is great comes with everything you need to start with the Nikon P1000, a nice tripod, cleaning accesories, aditional lens, reader memory card for easy transfer of the photos/videos to your PC/MAC. With the Nikon P1000 shot the moon, the stars, your friends, your pets, whatever you want!
  • The accessories are very poor and not worth buying. The tripod is totally under spec for a really good camera like this. I would never trust my camera attached to this tripod as it bends & flexes and could only work for very cheap light cameras. I cannot believe that it was included in the bundle. The external flash has to be the cheapest product on the market & does not actually fit or work with this camera. I would like my money back for the accessories!
