- The media could not be loaded. I do not own a smartphone and now this well-designed, feature-rich, easy-to-use video camera is my video camera of choice. I am really impressed with it. When I took it out of the box, I played with it without referring to the owner\'s manual to see how intuitive its operation was – everything was easy. I am very pleased with this order.I see no reason why a youngster, who does not have their own smartphone, would have any trouble learning how to use it and have lots of fun with some training guidance. The controls are simple and clearly labeled as to their function. I recommend that an adult pre-set the general camera options (such as date/time, auto turn-off, screen saver (battery), etc.) and the picture and video options (there are many).My normal inclination is to describe in detail most of the features – instead, I have included pictures of the features/options found in the 15-page instruction manual and a few pictures of the menu screens.The camera includes 2 lithium batteries (it\'s great to have a backup ready to go) – it is best to fully charge them before use and use the camera until almost fully discharged before recharging to \"initialize\" it properly. It also comes with a 32GB micro-SD card class 10. It came already inserted and formatted. The camera will support up to a 256GB micro-SD card.The camera has zoom, video time-lapse, video slow-motion, picture \"burst\" (takes 3 shots) and picture looping (3 second delay shots which continue until you press the shutter again). It also has a light that will flash when you press the shutter or stay on if you choose – default is off.The camera has a WIFI feature with a QR smartphone code in the manual for the AP. It allows you to access options and media on it from your phone. It does not support internet access.Selfie-mode is controlled by the DISP button – image shows on the smaller front screen.MENU button: In picture mode, first click shows picture options. In video mode, first click shows video options. Second click in either shows system setting options. This key also acts as a \"go back\" action when in the M (mode) menu lists – select video, picture or playback.M button: In MENU mode, this is the OK action. Out of MENU mode, this brings up the picture/video/playback switch mode.Suggestions: Use the included wrist strap to prevent accidental dropping. Also, hold the camera by the edges to avoid fingerprints on the camera lens. The camera is near the left hand instead of the center front and fingers tend to touch it. The offset is due to the selfie-screen.Kid Warning: The micro-SD card is very small and curious fingers could cause it to be ejected – possible loss, damage or choking hazard.Warranty: None specified on the product webpage or in the instruction manual. It does qualify for Amazon\'s 30-day after receipt return policy.Pictures are .JPG and videos are MP4 format.PS: The manual is easy to read – does not need a magnifying glass - and the information is easy to understand (mine is English only).

You can also use time-lapse recording.The camera has WIFI functionality as well. It\'s used mainly to connect a smart phone so the camera can be controlled by the mobile phone to take pictures and videos using the app once downloaded.Another feature is that you can use this camera as a webcam!As you can see, there are a lot of features packed into this camera.
- Nifty little point and shoot Camera.It is very light to take along to the beach, on hikes or bike rides, ect.I will be taking it to situations, where I would not take my expensive camera -or- I will give it to my young granddaughter.The view window is big to see clearly what is being photographed. The zoom is easy to use.Taking videos is a breeze too! The continuous shooting mode takes multiple pictures and is great for taking pictures of movement.I am not sure if I will be using the Selfie Mode. In this mode one can switch the viewing window to the smaller front or to the bigger back window.There are so many options to choose from ... I will have to report as I use them :-)I like the little camera and am satisfied with its functions so far..
- This camera is great. It is very light and compact; smaller than a deck of cards. But it produces great pictures. Getting the battery in is a bit tricky because there it a small lever that you must hold out of the way while inserting the battery, but once it is in place that little lever is nice because it holds the battery in place even if the compartment cover pops open. This is definitely not a professional quality camera, but for an armature it is not bad. You can make some basic changes to the settings and really take some awesome shots. I love that is comes with 2 batteries and a carrying case. It does come with a 32GB standard-sized SD card, which is already inserted in the card slot. At only $39.99 this is a great deal, and it is perfect for my daughter to take on her trips Washington DC this spring and Scout Camp this summer.
