  • I bought this camera to take casual photos around my home and so far this camera has been a very good purchase for me, the button for taking photos has to be pressed 4 or 5 times for it to take a photo but for the price I paid for it I can deal with that little mechanical flaw from it being a used camera.
  • I\'m not a photographer or mad about latest technology; I take pictures in trips, parties and that kind of stuff and wanted a camera that was easy to use and that was affordable. That being said, I\'m quite satisfied with the purchase: it is a small camera, thin and elegant design but still seems of good material. I turned it on and started taking pictures without even reading the manual, very easy and intuitive use.I put it in automatic and it takes very good pictures both indoor and outdoor (though you have to be careful with the flash) and it films in very good definition. In some of the modes ( that are not many ) though, it can get a bit slow so I think for those who are more into photography this camera would not be the most convenient option, but for a Point and shoot camera and at this price I think it is a very good deal.
  • The camera takes great pictures. I enjoy using it and take photos as often as possible, especially since I have relocated and plan to travel a lot over the summer. The one disappointment I have had is that after taking only 91 pictures, the camera ran out of memory and I had to upload the photos on my computer in order to clear the memory. Perhaps it\'s because of the amount of megapixels, the amount of times I zoomed in and out, or the fact I only had an 8mb card for the memory. Whatever the reason I ran out of memory, that I would say is my greatest disappointment. But I do like the quality of the pictures and the fact it is lightweight. As a matter of fact, I took many great landscape pictures from the airplane.
  • LOVE IT!!! Great camera, super clear images. A tad slow at higher resolutions but I don\'t need a fast camera, and it\'s faster at lower resolutions.Lot\'s of features. I wish they would take most of them out, like sepia tone, etc, there are great programs for photo editing and I don\'t think these cameras should multi-task as much as they do. I do like the different auto settings for low light, macro, etc. Amazon offered an additional 2 year protection plan which I purchased just in case. I am so glad to have pixelated free images again. :) I have not tried the recorder and probably won\'t, that\'s another thing they should keep separate. I want to take great pictures and don\'t want to over burden the system. Images are grainy when going to the fine zoom, but it is the same with all these cameras in various brands. Nikon if you are listening, it would be nice to see higher zooms instead of recording or photo edits.
  • I\'m satisfied with the picture quality and battery life, but I\'m deducting a star because it doesn\'t have a manual mode, or any of the traditional priority modes (i.e. Shutter Priority or Aperture). You have to rely on it\'s Auto Exposure Mode, Auto/Flash Exposure, or a series of preset modes for events such as portrait, party, or nighttime, among others. However, it\'s slim, lightweight, and the lightweight aluminum casing feels nice. Additionally, the video quality is nice.Personally, I just leave it on Auto Exposure Mode, keep a large and fast memory card installed, and use it as a convenient point-and-shoot. In that respect I can focus on just framing nice photos. Just remember, like any other point-and-shoot camera, good exposure depends on good light.
  • A very compact camera. Very easy to use and very versatile. However, somehow I keep getting smudge spots on my photos. Don\'t know what happened. Any suggestion would be appreciated. See photo below of a close-up of a fan palm frond and see the spots. One negative is the slow response when taking photos. When you take a photo, the camera freezes on that photo for several seconds before un-freezing and allowing you to take another photo. You can\'t go \"click, click, click...\" away like in the movie. You have to go \"click -- pause, pause, pause, pause -- click -- pause, pause, pause, pause -- click....\"
