- I bought this camera specifically to use on a canoe trip. My kids (8y and 5y) are both budding photographers and I wanted to have something for them to use (that wasn\'t my precious cell phone!) Unfortunately, the clarity and detail of the camera digital photographs simply wasn\'t as good as my cell phone (not even close!) I also had trouble connecting the camera to my computer via the USB cord (it worked the first time, then said there was a problem and never reconnected).
