- Perfect bridge camera for my birding as I am not pushing myself to be a professional photographer. 60x zoom is great. Touch screen may be tricky by unintentional touch but I am getting used to it.
- The small sensor requires more light, but in good lighting, it\'s excellent. Great camera all around. Comes with everything you need and more. Quality and functionality are all wrapped in one nice package.
- Everything arrived as expected, USA warranty in retail box. Registered it on line for extended three year warranty and it picked it up as USA product, no issues. Very easy to set up and set for just iA (intelligent automatic) it is quite point and shoot. This is the lease expensive camera that I found with two critical features - it will save pictures in raw format allowing ultimate flexibility in post processing and it has an actual view finder in addition to the view screen. Shot outside in bright light and you\'ll see why the view finder is critical! The screen on back is touch screen that drives the menu, which is very cool as well. I few other just had it as a view finder and the menu was toggled from switches which is a bit cumbersome. I\'ve shot telephoto, wide angle, normal eye FL (around 100mm), and macro and all seems to work well. Overall very impressed with the camera. Did a quick video and it worked as expected, but don\'t intend to use the camera for video much. Hooked it via usb and wifi to PC and phone easily. Bluetooth to phone as well.Another thing I like is when you turn it on, it is ready to shot REALLY quick. Faster than some others I looked at and definitely faster than my old Fuji 5M pixel compact DSLR.Now a slight con that may make a different camera a bit more attractive - if you intend to take advantage of all the features of the camera, the Lumix does more, but you are going to have to study it to take advantage of all the features. It is a bit more complicated because it does more, period. But, it does RAW images and has a view finder and to me those two features outweigh a slight difference in ease of use.Accessories that cam with it are fine, but except for the memory card, I didn\'t care about them. It has a hand strap that attached to the camera via the tripod mount and I\'m amused by it. I finally figured out how to attach it to the camera, but not wit the neck strap on the camera at the same time. I went for the neck strap.Overall, I totally recommend this camera. I pretty much know what I was looking at and this one checks off all my boxes.
- My Pixel has ruined my decision making for a new camera for taking photos for resell. And I refuse to spend over $1000 USD for a camera. I\'ll just update my pixel before I do that. But, the camera itself worked, it just didn\'t meet my expectations.
- I bought this camera to come along with me traveling (took it to Peru and Portugal) and it took stunning photos and really nice videos. The microphone is very nice, picture quality is great (the zooming ability is outstanding on this camera). I\'m not very familiar with cameras at all, and I think this one has done well despite me being a super noob lol. The ONLY THING I do not like about this camera is that you cannot live stream onto a different display, and the viewfinder does not pop out either. The ONLY external feature is playback using the HDMI to a TV/computer, but again, cannot live stream. Frustrating, because I was definitely wanting to utilize the viewfinder. Also, my bundle did NOT include the correct HDMI cord. This camera comes with a micro HDMI port, and the bundle included a mini HDMI (which is a size bigger than the needed micro). The bundle also didn\'t have the correct strap to attach to the camera.Overall, I love this camera for travel, it feels sturdy and is very travel-friendly. and I will try to use it that way moving forward. But if you\'re looking to record your own videos or livestream, you may find this isn\'t the right camera for that purpose. Hope this helps someone out there!
- I took a chance and bought this before a vacation trip. It has so many features that I want in a camera, that I was willing to try it. One of the biggest mistakes I made in the last couple of YEARS.This camera refused to take most of the pictures that I was trying to take. It would fail to focus, or just not take the picture. It switched itself to video at one point and just videoed things for nearly 5 minutes before switching back to photos. The touchscreen wouldn\'t allow you to select a focal point. It would highlight what you tapped on... maybe. But then wouldn\'t focus.Out of over 200 pictures, 15 of my pictures are in focus. My cell phone took better pictures. Bright, sunny, clear day. I try to take a picture of a bald eagle in a tree... big, black and white bird, sitting at the TOP of this tree, against a crystal blue sky... Not buried in the tree, not a cloudy or dark day... The camera STILL could not manage to focus. Then, when I got home, the camera refused to transfer any of my pictures to my computer. Not over wifi, not by cable, not by a different type of cable... Not a SINGLE one of the methods that is supposed to allow me to get pictures off the camera would work. I had to go find a memory card reader to be able to get the pictures. If I could give a rating lower than 1 star, you betcha I would. Instead, the camera went back and I will never EVER EVER buy another Panasonic camera again. This was a waste of my time, money, effort, and really negatively impacted my vacation.

- Good point-and-zoom-and-shoot camera, too large for a pocket camera but large enough for good zoom for nature shots, for landscape and close-up, and light enough to take on long walks and hikes. Good camera for photograph by an amateur not wanting to take a series of courses on how to use a complex camera. But the Amazon vendor failed to deliver after a month of rejecting addresses, even a 1978-built condo in a condo complex was not in the FedEx database of acceptable addresses. I received the product by ordering direct from B&H Photo.
