- First, let me say I was always strictly a film girl--a black and white film girl. I loved developing it, printing my own photos, and the entire burning and dodging bits. I even have an enlarger in storage I hope to use one day when I actually have the space and means to build my own dark room (going on 21 years, but husband says when we buy final house in 2 years that will be the first thing we do!). Anyhow... I had another DSLR. Not going to say what brand, because I do love the 35 mm cameras they make--but that camera... Left LOTS to be desired. This one... for someone that has always been just film and is trying desperately to wrap their head around digital photography beyond what one can do on a smart phone, is AMAZING! Yes... the app to import photos from camera to phone or computer can be clunky. But I figured it out and it was so much easier than getting my old iPhone photos off of it to my windows laptop. So yes: they need to improve that capability. In this day in age it should not be that hard. And I have one complaint beyond that... sometimes it will not shoot when I am \"too\" close to a scene I have set up (could be it is just not reading the sensors well at that point...I don\'t know)--so what if the photo stinks... I will delete it later. Anyhow.. Those are my only two complaints. Lots of great scene setting options, amazing clarity in photos, great battery life, not heavy to carry--light and compact compared to the one I purchased in 2010. So if you are new to the DSLR world like me, or just looking for a camera to go out and have fun with, the two complaints I have are nothing compared to what this camera can do--so I highly recommend it! :)
- I recommend anyone looking for their camera needs to buy from Grace Photo NY! I was looking for a gray market camera because they are usually $100 cheaper and able to be bundled like what you see here for a good price compared to its USA counterpart. If you have any concerns do not fret, these cameras are legit and I was able to register my canon SL3 on the USA website, Grace Photo NY also gave me the Rebel model version of the camera which I’m also thankful for! The international models are the (eos 250d, eos 200d ii) so I’m really happy I received what was pictured! Everything came packaged well, new, and I received it in two days :) love love love!One thing to note is you will not receive a warranty because these are cameras from canons facilities from other countries and not USA, but like I mentioned earlier you can still register your product with canon USA but you will have to pay for a repair if you so need it later down it’s lifespan. Hope I can help anyone who’s on the fence! I can’t speak for other sellers, but Grace Photo NY came through for me :D
- Just got my package yesterday! the camera is so nice it was the USA Version like the listing says. A lot of the accessories are nice like the extra battery, memory card, bag, cleaning stuff. but some are just absolute junk or are not compatible with the camera The External flash it comes with doesn\'t work with this camera. its a 1 pin flash and the SL3 requires a 4 pin. The tripod that comes with this kit is useless. it is the biggest piece of junk tripod I\'ve ever seen. it feels like a toy and is super wobbly. I bought this kit because it came with a tripod, but this is worthless. besides the few things that I didn\'t like, I think the overall price and kit are a pretty good value. Really just wish they sent me a tripod that was worth using...
- Excellent purchase with a great kit to get started. Received the US version SL3 instead of the international 250D, which I’m extremely happy about. Camera works very well and I’m very happy with this purchase. Registered it with canon and have the option to buy a service plan with them for 2-4 years. The kit comes with everything you need to get started and most of the items are of very good quality. Either way the camera and kit is less than what you would spend for just the camera at retail stores so can’t complain at all. Excellent seller and fast shipping. Ordered on a Thursday and received it on the following Tuesday. Everything was packaged very nicely. 100% recommend to anyone!!
- It\'s a decent bundle. It was actually cheaper than buying the camera out right at most places. Good camera for beginners and hardcore users. it pretty much does everything that you would want in a camera like this. the items bundled with it are little on the cheap side. But everything is still worth it. If you\'re looking for a camera to do YouTube or use as a webcam for twitch this is perfect.
- I love my new camera, I got it five days early right before Fourth of July. I was able to take it to the city and take some very good pictures with it!Would only recommend buying a separate tripod because the one it comes with works great BUT doesn’t replace the sturdy one I have already.Other than that AMAZING and big difference from the t6 I handed down to my sister.
- Camera fulfilled all my expectations at a reasonable price. The tripod does not seem very sturdy but all other parts work well. Also found several videos on Youtube specifically teaching how to use this camera set. Definitely recommend.
