- I used this twice during summer vacation and just recharge and try to use for my Christmas tree. Now it\'s not printing the photo and the reason is \'photo pick up failled\' I didn\'t purchase the warranty which is my fault but there is no way to fix this thing but buying a new one. I couldn\'t find the way to contact the seller. My order is already over 30days return policy at this point. Wasted $120 for couple instant photos...please someone contact me to fix this thing.--------------updatedI contacted Kodak customer support directly and they exchange the camera to new one. I appreciate it and changing a star for 3! Good customer support to kodak but the fact that this camera wasn\'t working after used twice doesnt change.
- Makes a great gift for anyone who likes to take pictures. It’s compact so it’s easy to take on the go and it is good it you want to print polaroid sized pictures from your phone. Although, the pictures are more grainy than pictures from a Polaroid camera.
- Picture quality isn’t great And coloring off .. when transferring photos to print from ur phone the pictures aren’t clear and too dark they don’t look good once printed .. hoping it would be a great camera but very disappointed
- This is my 2nd Kodak printer. I purchased the Kodak Mini printer over the summer for my daughters birthday and absolutely loved it, as did my cousin so gave it to her. I’m glad I waited a few months before repurchasing, because it’s been replaced by this mini shot. Picture quality is very decent when taken from the camera, but quality from phone is MUCH better, as there is higher megapixel from the phone. Also like the fact that this one connects via WiFi, rather than Bluetooth. Battery life is also longer. This was a huge issue with prior printer; it would only print 8-9 photos before dying. This one so far has printed all 8 photos in the lack and it’s still running.Downside is, the printer paper roll is a different size between the two cameras. I had purchased SO much of the Kodak printer for previous printer but I will just give to my little cousin.You won’t be disappointed.
- The camera does not store images; you take a picture and it appears on a tiny screen, where you can then decide whether or not to print.This product works best as a portable printer in conjunction with the Kodak minishot app, but the Bluetooth connectivity is hit or miss and seems to be better on some devices than others (it wouldn\'t work on my husband\'s Sprint Essential, but it worked with his work phone, which is an iPhone).Once I figured out how to use the app, the device printed one photo perfectly, printed the next with white spots going across it, and printed the next with only the yellow (the first pass) and then broke. All it does now when I send something to print is make some whirring noises and then give a message that says \"please replace the cartridge.\" I replaced the cartridge as instructed. I blew into the machine like a N64 cartridge. I turned it on and off. I pressed the impossibly tiny reset button. Nothing.I contacted Kodak and they said I could ship them the device, at my own expense, and in a few weeks, they could send me the identical item. I then contacted Amazon and they agreed to a refund, so I am sending back this product and trying out the Kodak Mini 2 Photo Printer, which is compatible with the cartridges I purchased for the product I\'m returning.
- My daughter got this for xmas and she\'s in love with it. Best thing: she can print photos that are on her phone. Super easy to use and you can buy cute accessories for it (which I did). Picture quality is excellent, much better than a polaroid.
- How it takes instant pictures dislikes how long it takes compared to other polaroid brands
- After about a year of use the photos started jamming while printing and is now useless won\'t accept a new cartridge and no way to reset the internal mechanism that feeds the paper (we printed about 5-6 pictures per week). The printer is a bit slow but not a huge deal for our application - perhaps for some. The camera would benefit from a small internal storage that stores the last few pictures for re-printing as needed. Also would benefit to have battery indicator and an indicator when photo paper is out BEFORE attempting to print a picture (very annoying). Great idea - needs better execution and long-term usability.
