- It\'s not a 36mp sensor. Based on test photos taken at different settings, and comparing the change in detail at each level, it appears to be a 8mp sensor. Compared to name-brand cameras, the image quality is functionally more like a 5mp.That\'s not as bad as older generic cameras. It\'s actually usable, if not impressive. Since it\'s a fixed-focus lens, you are better off using a low-priced phone. Unless you just don\'t like holding phones (they are poorly designed to be held like cameras).It doesn\'t have a real flash. Like phones, it has an LED (which can\'t \"flash\" like a real camera normally does with a gas discharge tube, creating a faster-than-blink strobe which won\'t blind people). But it\'s worse than most phone LEDs. Inconsistent color, and it doesn\'t even turn on & off on it\'s own. You have to push the light button which turns the light on, take the picture, and then push the light button to turn it off. It\'s not a camera flash, it\'s a mini flashlight built into a junky camera.A minor flaw is the lomo effect setting, which would have made this camera at least somewhat amusing. It doesn\'t work. Normally a lomo effect would add slightly dark fades around the corners, and sometimes add just a little color distortion if simulating cheap color film. This one does neither, it just makes it black and white (despite the icon for the lomo mode showing the effects I described). It ALSO has a black & white mode, so they just programmed it wrong.Bottom line is, these generic cameras just aren\'t very good and not worth buying. It\'s lower quality than most phone cameras. They would be good kid toys if they weren\'t so expensive.
- Very unfortunate purchase, camera does not focus at any distance, do not make the same mistake, buy something else.
