- This is the most garbage digital camera I have ever used, the picture is horrible no where near the 4k 52 pm quality it claims and it feels like something you would find as a happy meal toy. I wish I could give it less than one stars.
- I am a keen amateur photographer and always tote around my 1DX2 with a bunch of lenses just in case I need it. My kids have grown up seeing me take photos and are always wanting to take their own, so I thought why not get them an easy to use point and shoot camera.In the box you will find the camera itself which looks like it is based on an old Sony point and shoot. Two rechargable batteries (excellent inclusion rather than just the one), a 32Gb SD card (this is already installed in the camera however first thing you should do is format the card, a recharger, camera strap, another micro-USB to USB 3 cable so that you can hook the camera directly to your computer without having to take out the SD card and a small camera bag to keep the camera in whilst you are not using it. Everything you need to get you started.The camera itself is quite small and doesn\'t have a touch screen, so all menu functions have to be done via the small buttons on the back. It sports a tiny 56 megapixel BSI sensor, something akin to what you would find on phones around 5 years ago with an ISO range of 100 to 400. You get 4 ISO options which can be accessed thorugh the easy to use menu, Auto, 100, 200 and 400. This is really just a small point and shoot camera.The lens is a fixed lens at f2.8 and has a 20x digital zoom giving it a decent range. Unfortunately there is no optical zoom so using the zoom will affect the pictures that you take. Surprisingly in the menu you will find options for face detect, camera shake (it actually does this by cropping the image. It is not an IBIS sensor), white balance (nice option to have although probably too complicated for a kid to understand), smile capture (the camera will automatically take a photo when it detects a smile. This option is hit and miss), continuous shooting (at 3fps it is nothing to write home about) and a few other options like in camera sharpening of your jpgs (there is no option for RAW). Video wise it will shoot full 4K video at 30fps however sound quality with the built in microphone is poor.Image quality is really nothing to write home about. The images are quite grainy, even at full 56 megapixel. There is some color fringing if you zoom in on your image or crop too far. Video\'s come out a bit on the dark side so you do need good light in order to get the best out of it and fairly much forget it when it comes to low light shooting.Overall this is an OK camera. Its a quite basic point and shoot camera with no real frills and just OK image quality, something akin to a 5-10 year old phone.
- The media could not be loaded. I purchased this nifty little camera as a gift for an 11-year-old. I tested it out myself playing with the settings and trying it in different environments. First off this is a 49-dollar camera, so I did not expect much. Although the image quality is high the lens of course is what matters most on a camera, and the lens is not great. That being said, for taking snapshots and playing around, you can get some decent pictures with it. The menu is easy to navigate so you can go from auto, to portrait to night mode, etc, very easily. You can choose to use the auto setting which works OK in good light conditions, or you can choose to set your ISO settings and others yourself. For low light, you may have to work hard to get good pictures. It does have a digital zoom on it but it does affect your image quality. It does have an anti-shake and White Balance setting and sharpness adjustment. It also has a self-timer so you can take easy selfies. There is an effects section that is fun to play around with and kids will love to play with them.As far as the video side of this camera goes, it is totally amateur is does not do well in any lower light situation. If you are outside on a sunny day you may get something decent, but inside the house forget it. I uploaded a quick video so you can see the amount of distortion and color correction you have. This video side of things is not its strong point.The camera is very light and comes with an extra battery and a 32G SD card so you can get started right away. I have not used it long enough to run out of battery yet so it looks like it\'s good for several hours at least. While you are not going to be able to take professional pictures with this camera, it is going to keep your kids busy for a long time. It is also good if you wanted to take it along for quick snapshots outside rather than filling up your phone with pictures while you are out and about. I uploaded a couple of pictures that I took inside with different settings. A good beginner\'s camera but don\'t expect it to be more than what it is. I would rate it a 3.5 if I could give it half stars.
- These pictures are from the camera. I got this to give my Kids to start taking some pictures and learn basic photography before getting them something more expensive. This does the basic functions and is good to get started with. The picture quality outdoors is pretty good, indoors i had to play with the lights.Over all for what it is for this gets the job done. I will say the build quality is not very good, it feels light and the plastic is basic quality.
- It is a nice small camera which was good as it was purchased for my granddaughter. It came with two batteries. I am not sure it that was a mistake or on purpose. I think that is a plus. Charging it was simple enough but when I went to set up the language and the data/time, it was not how the instructions stated to do it. At this point, I still do not have them set up. I became frustrated with it and gave up. The instructions need to be clearer on how to get this completed.
