Nikon 1 J5 Mirrorless Digital Camera w/ 10-30mm PD-ZOOM Lens (Silver)
- Es una buena cámara pero para nada resistente. No la volvería a comprar
- I\'ve been through numerous cameras trying to find something that is both portable and can focus on a fast-moving target. The J5 is by far the best tool for that job. I have no intention of ever carrying a large camera bag nor carrying a camera around my neck. I like to be free of encumbrances, so one of my main criteria is a camera that can fit in a small belt case. The J5 with the kit lens can fit into a Lowepro Dashpoint 20. That is incredible considering the case is made for point and shoots. It can even squeeze into that case sideways with the 18.5mm lens attached! My second main criteria is being able to focus quickly on a moving subject...namely a 2-year-old. The J5 does just that, and better than any other mirrorless camera, including the Sony a6000. I have both at the time of this writing so I have actually compared. I tested with my son on a swing coming at me back and forth, and the a6000 could not grab focus half the time on his face. The J5 focus is so fast you almost think it is not even focusing. It focuses and takes the shot instantly, and gets me many more \"keepers\" than any camera I have ever used.People always bring up sensor size with the Nikon 1 series. The J5 has a 1\" sensor which is smaller than other mirrorless cameras, but bigger than most cameras this size. All I can say is actually shoot with one and compare your results rather than stare at lab tests. For people it delivers beautiful skin tones and textures. I simply prefer the Nikon colors to Sony\'s. Sony has a much cooler tone which is not the best for skin tones IMO. Noise in shadows is greater than the a6000, but Sony\'s JPEG engine is so bad that any time there is noise it is ugly noise. The J5\'s JPEGs are better, but I\'d turn off the skin smoothing feature. The touchscreen is also nice to have. For certain settings I use touch and others I will use the dials. Touch to focus is handy. It is a very nice screen as well, bigger than the a6000 and plenty bright in direct sunlight at the higher brightness settings to frame a shot. It articulates so you can bring the camera down low, up high, or for selfies....very conveinent.Bottom line...fantastic camera. Great for families if you want something truly small that packs the autofocus performance of a DSLR. IQ easily surpasses the J4 and for my usage gets better results than the much beloved Sony a6000.
